Why can't I apply for margin?

Some accounts are not eligible for margin:

  • Custodial Account
  • Any IRA Account
  • Education Savings Account

If you got a message that says "Currently there are open restrictions on your account", please contact us. You will be able to apply for trading privilege once the restrictions are cleared.
